Privacy Policy

Dlearn ("we", "us", "the service") is a language-learning game with lessons, battles, leaderboards and friends. This document explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

1. Data We Collect

  • Account data: email address and password (when you register by email; passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and are never visible to us) or basic Google profile data (when you sign in with Google).
  • Gameplay data: your username (nickname), coins, trophies, learning progress, friends list, friend requests, battle results, and your online/offline status shown to friends.
  • Technical data: interface language, referral code (if you joined through a friend's invitation), and settings stored in your browser (local storage).
  • Prize claims: if you win a prize that has to be issued manually, we store a claim code linked to your account and may receive the email or message you send us to claim it.

2. How We Use Data

  • To create and operate your account and game profile.
  • To show leaderboards, statistics, friends lists and battle matchmaking.
  • To understand how the service is used, improve it and fix errors.
  • To show advertising (see section 5).

3. Where Data Is Stored

Account and gameplay data is stored with Google Firebase (Google Cloud). We take reasonable measures to protect it from unauthorized access, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

4. Cookies, Local Storage and Analytics

We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your language. On some pages we use Microsoft Clarity, a usage-analytics tool that records how visitors interact with the pages (for example clicks and scrolling) so we can improve the interface. Clarity may set its own cookies; see Microsoft's terms for details.

5. Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to show you ads based on your visits to our service and/or other sites on the Internet.

  • You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings.
  • You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
  • More about how Google uses data from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
  • If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent to cookies used for ads before they are set, and you can change your choice at any time through the privacy settings link shown on the site.

6. Sharing Data With Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run the service (Google Firebase, Google AdSense, Microsoft Clarity), and only to the extent necessary. Your username, coins, trophies and online status are visible to other players in leaderboards and friends lists.

7. Your Rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your account and the data linked to it by contacting us at the address below. You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser at any time.

8. Children

Dlearn is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it. Where the law requires parental consent for minors, we do not collect data without it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
